My Therapeutic Approach
Many gay men move through life on repeat, guided by patterns and beliefs formed long ago—sometimes in response to pain, rejection, or loss. In therapy, we slow things down. Together, we’ll uncover the unconscious narratives and emotional wounds that may be quietly shaping your choices and relationships.
Using an AEDP-informed approach, we don’t just talk about your feelings—we stay with them in real time, in the safety of the therapeutic relationship. This allows us to process experiences that may have once felt too overwhelming, so you can integrate them and feel more alive in the present. While the work can be deep, it can also be surprisingly energizing—unlocking vitality, creativity, and a renewed sense of possibility.
